Adenike Kazalma-Mantey
Executive Director
Adenike Kazalma-Mantey is a globally experienced investment and development professional with over 15 years of expertise spanning trade, finance, and private sector development across Africa and international markets. She brings a unique blend of policy insight, investment facilitation, and ecosystem-building experience, with a strong track record of unlocking capital, shaping markets, and enabling scalable business growth.
Throughout her career, Adenike has advised governments, multilateral institutions, and private sector actors on unlocking investment opportunities, strengthening financial systems, and enabling inclusive economic growth. She has worked with leading organizations including the World Bank/IFC, DFID (now FCDO), the European Union, as well as leading international development firms such as DAI, ASI to design and implement large-scale programs focused on investment climate reform, access to finance, and market development.

Kevin Conroy
Director Strategy
Kevin Conroy is an entrepreneur, international development and investment and market systems specialist with over 14 years of experience working across Europe and Africa. He is also the co-founder of Bature Brewery, Nigeria’s first craft brewery, where he has played a pioneering role in building a distinctive brand.
Kevin brings deep expertise in business innovation, investment facilitation, and market systems development. He has led and supported high-impact initiatives across critical sectors including agriculture and cocoa, working with businesses, investors, governments, and development partners to unlock opportunities and catalyse change in high-growth markets.
He has held senior leadership roles on major development programmes, including serving as Team Leader for GROW Liberia, where he worked to accelerate agribusiness investment and sector growth, and as Team Leader on the UK-funded ENABLE2 programme in Nigeria, which focused on strengthening public-private dialogue and driving business environment reform. Earlier in his career, Kevin worked on the GEMS3 programme, supporting investment climate reforms at the state level

Edima Otuokon
Senior Advisor
Edima Otuokon is a seasoned strategist, entrepreneur, and communications expert with over 20 years of experience across Africa in business development, marketing, media, and strategic planning. She is the Founder and CEO of Organized M.E.S.S. Limited, a multi-country strategy, marketing, and communications firm with operations in Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa, where she has led the design and delivery of high-impact initiatives for public, private, and development sector clients.
Edima brings deep expertise in stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and strategic communications, with a strong track record of supporting organizations to build visibility, strengthen partnerships, and mobilize resources. Her experience spans working with governments, NGOs, and private sector actors, delivering results in complex and dynamic environments. She is also an experienced facilitator, having led capacity-building workshops in proposal writing, research, and communications for leading institutions across the region.

Emojevbe Omene
Senior Advisor
Emojevbe Mary Omene is Defence Reform Adviser at the British High Commission, Abuja, providing senior strategic advice and delivery leadership on defence reform, Professional Military Education (PME), and institutional development within the UK–Nigeria Security and Defence Partnership. She supports the Armed Forces of Nigeria and Ministry of Defence to design and deliver transformation programmes compliant with UK policy, International Humanitarian Law, and human rights obligations.
Her 15-year career spans His Majesty’s Government, FCDO/DFID, CSSF, Adam Smith International, Family Health International (USAID GHAIN), WS Atkins, and EU/UNICEF. As Programme Manager for CSSF Nigeria, she led a £14m high-risk stabilisation portfolio integrating military and civilian interventions in North East Nigeria. At Adam Smith International, she supported DFID’s flagship ENABLE II economic reform programme, managing 100+ technical advisers and DFID’s first output-based payment mechanism. Earlier roles with USAID and EU/UNICEF focused on governance, WASH, and community development.
Mary is recognised for strategic judgement, political acumen, and programme leadership in high-risk environments. Core expertise includes defence reform, PME, security and defence policy, conflict and stabilisation, cross-government coordination, and OSJA risk assurance. She holds an MSc in Environmental & Waste Management from the University of South Wales, a BSc from the University of Abuja, and PRINCE2 certification. She has published on public health and development and regularly represents HMG at senior bilateral and multilateral levels.
